Kristine Mast
Instructor E-RYT 200, E-RYT 500, YACEP
Kristine Mast didn’t just stumble into yoga—she dove in headfirst. What started as a way to stay active in college turned into something much deeper when her dad underwent holistic cancer treatment. That’s when she saw firsthand how yoga could heal—not just the body, but the mind and spirit too.
After a successful career in education, teaching students from kindergartners to college, Kristine craved something new. She bought the yoga studio where she had been practicing, Muskegon Yoga Center. That leap launched her into an even deeper exploration of the 8-limbed path of yoga.
Kristine trained with renowned teacher Hilaire Lockwood, completing her 200- and 500-hour yoga certifications. The studio grew into a thriving, supportive community as she led classes, workshops, and introduced the first Yoga Alliance Teacher Training on the lakeshore. Eventually, her passion took her beyond studio walls—leading retreats across the U.S., Mexico, Costa Rica, and Portugal.
In 2022, she passed on the studio torch, but her yoga journey was far from over. As the founder of In Flow, Kristine continues to teach, train new teachers, and lead retreats worldwide. For her, yoga isn’t just about movement—it’s a way of moving through life with presence, peace, and joy.
Whether she’s guiding a class, hosting a retreat, or just rolling out her own mat, Kristine’s mission is simple: help others find their flow, on and off the mat.
